Dr.-Ing. Dipl.-Wirt. Ing. Heiner Heimes studied mechanical engineering and economics at the RWTH Aachen University. He started working for the WZL in 2010. In 2011, he moved to the group for electromobility manufacturing. After graduating with a PhD, he became chief engineer for the field of battery manufacturing at PEM in 2014.
