I grew up as a yound scrapper on the Lower East side much like the Tv show the Jeffersons. I was always a big fan of the yankees but the only jersey I could ever afford or that my parents could buy for me was a replica yankees jersey. I used to try and pass it off a real one until I got called out at an after school pick up baseball game. I will never forget that day. This really big brother named Jerome gave me a facial for making fun of his yankees jersey calling it a fake (ie. replica) He sure showed me. My nose was broken and I was so bummed because I got blood all over my yankees jersey. I was a caucky little kid back then and this guy taught me a lesson. Just because you are a scrapper and you want to be a baller. Its ok to wear a replica yankees jersey or any replica baseball team jersey when you cant afford it and you should not make fun of others.
